College students have been on vacation for a couple weeks, but the wait is almost over.
In the coming weeks, you’ll be able to get a college student discount on up to a dozen college books at your favorite bookstore.
The deals start at $1.99 per paperback and up to $19.99 for a full book of 300 pages or more.
The list of participating publishers is long: Bantam Books, HarperCollins, Hachette, Macmillan, Random House, Scribner, Simon & Schuster, Titan Books, Vintage Books, and others.
So, what’s the catch?
To get the discount, just buy a book at a participating bookstore, and you’ll receive your book for free.
For some titles, the discount can only be applied once.
For example, you can only redeem the discount for books that you already own, or for books with an expiration date.
To get your freebie, you just need to go to any participating bookstore and select “discount.”
Once you’ve selected the book to get your discount, go to your MyBookshelf account and select the book you want to get the deal.
The first time you select this book, you will receive the discount in your MyLibrary, and each time you use the discount to buy a new book, the value will double.
If you’re looking for a more specific discount, you should try Amazon or Barnes & Noble, which both offer similar deals.
You can also buy books directly from the participating bookseller.
But beware: The discount is only available for one book per person, so don’t expect to get all your savings from one deal.
If a book is currently on sale, you could get the book for less than you paid for it, which will likely result in you missing out on the full discount.
The following list of college book deals is just a sampling of the many books on offer, so if you’re interested in any of them, be sure to check out the complete list of discounts.
